Excellence Awards represent the best of every IUCX Conference. The best major system/platform implementations, the best people/program/technology projects, the best teamwork, the best pivots and Plan Bs, the best confluence of determination, mission and dedication; all to pursue and enhance customer service excellence and a modern, engaging, economical and efficient CX.

 

Two levels of company awards are granted annually: Level I for utilities whose revenues exceed and Level II for utilities whose revenues are less than $1B.

COMPANY AWARD CATEGORIES

Best CIS Implementation

Salute major implementations of customer information systems (CIS), evaluated on budget and schedule adherence, operational efficiency and effectiveness after go-live, innovative solutions and improved customer service delivery.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS AND CRITERIA

Distinguished Leader

  • Nominee demonstrates singular dedication, service and consistent, progressively more mature leadership skills to the utility industry.

  • Nominator provides multiple examples that strengthen the nomination and specific references illustrating the nominee’s involvement/achievement/leadership.

  • Nominator provides at least one testimonial (including contact information) from a person or organization that has worked closely with or benefited from the nominee’s leadership efforts. Testimonial(s) may come from the nomination submitter.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & LOGISTICS

  • The Excellence Award Company Application and Individual Nomination are required electronic forms. Please carefully review the entire Application or the Nomination form before you start answering questions or filling in information. Many how-to and what-happens-next questions are answered in these forms, along with tips, cautionary notes and best practices.

  • Both the Application and the Nomination should be written in a concise manner and provide key information/answers to all questions. Every field should be completed. Please respect suggested word limits. Please follow the instructions given for these fillable forms.

  • Supplemental documents that clarify or support the Application or Nomination may be included at the time of submission.

  • The Company Application Sections 1-2 provide introduction, background and context but are not scored. Judges score only Sections 3-9. Failure to answer a Section will result in no score for that Section.

  • Judges score all Sections of the Individual Nominations.
