As a field and shop operations supervisor at 2025 host utility Salt River Project, Anthony Fitzhugh supervises a team that sets, maintains and troubleshoots residential AMI meters in the western part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. “My boss knows we’re doing a good job when we complete our fieldwork, receive customer compliments and meet our goals. I’m proud to say we set over 140,000 meters a year, and our customer satisfaction rating is remarkably good.”
Anthony is currently transitioning to a new role in the customer contact center where he will be responsible for a team of 19 utility professionals.
2025 will be Anthony’s third year serving on IUCX’s Field Services Workshop Track and the Field Services/Revenue Protection Deep Dives category. “My favorite part of being a PC member is collaborating with people from other utilities as we learn, share and overcome operational hurdles and today’s customer challenges. The people on the Committee are truly passionate and that is something I really enjoy.” - Anthony Fitzhugh |
“I’m proud of my two young boys because both have recently achieved personal goals. My eight-year-old won the state championship in two track and field events, the 400m and the 800m. And my 11-year-old’s team won the state football championship. Their hard work plus the dedication my wife and I have instilled in them is shining through!” Anthony’s family enjoys camping, fishing, hunting and travel, especially their yearly family reunion in October to the beach in Mexico.
