You know her warm Southern accent and dazzling smile! Kimberly Allen of Georgia Power (GPC) is readying for her third Conference week this year, serving in numerous roles on the Planning Committee, including as Digital Engagement Deep Dives lead. “I work with my utility to engage Workshops and Deep Dives speakers for sessions that are insightful and educational. It’s a great opportunity for GPC professionals to hear what other utilities and vendors offer and encourage them to network and develop relationships with others. Personally, I enjoy learning about the wins and challenges that utilities are facing, meeting peers from other utilities and cross-functional sharing. It’s so gratifying to see it all come together and know that GPC had a hand in delivering IUCX.”
“As GPC’s systems and support manager, I provide technical and process support to Customer Services (Customer Care, Customer Assistance, Managed Accounts, Customer Operations and other organizations in the billing, collections, analysis, rates, testing, reporting and compliance areas). I also support ASCEND CSS conversions to C2M and lead a well-versed and talented team of 12 direct reports.” – Kimberly Allen |
Married with four children ranging in age from 13 to 23, Allen also chases after three dogs. Her hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, reading, watching her children play sports, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, home décor, cooking, gardening, event planning and working out. Whew! Her family are avid cruisers and love the beach, with St. George Island, FL being their favorite place for sand and sun. She’s a busy lady, and one whom people reach out to because she manages priorities and assignments so responsibly.
